Visit from Tay-Tay

Well, our week with Tay-Tay has come to an end.  We picked her up in SC when we went down to shoot a wedding.  We had LOTS of fun while she was here.  Josiah really enjoyed having someone around besides Mommy.  On Monday, we went to a MOPS leader meeting.  Tayler and Josiah were able to hang out with some other kids while I attended the meeting.  Tuesday was a pretty quite day.  A day to catch up and get back on our routine.  On Wednesday, we went to the Sully Plantation for a behind the scnenes tour of the house.  Thursday, we got up and drove to Winchester to go to a children's museum.  Both Tayler and Josiah enjoyed themselves.  On Friday, we had some friends over for lunch and to go swimming. Tayler enjoyed hanging out with the girls so much that she went over to their house on Saturday.  On Sunday, we went to church and Sunday School and then waited for Uncle Toady and Auntie Sue to arrive.  They drove to pick up Tayler so they could stop by Williamsburg on the way home.  From the sounds of it, they had a wonderful time.  Yesterday after everyone left, Josiah was beside himself.  They had already left by the time he got up.  The first thing he did was crawl to Tayler's room.  He just sat out in the hallway looking for her.  Poor thing probably realized it was back to Josiah and Mommy.  He was very clingy all day, but that was OK.  I tried to get as much done as I could during his naps.

The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy for the Greenwoods.  Josiah has a doctor appointment for his weight.  We have another doctor appointment for G2.  Family Camp Day and the Sunday Cookout is somewhere in there.  I am orgainizing it and Chris is teaching all the Bible lessons. Chris will be leading worship.  He will also be preaching one Sunday.  Then he will be taking the oral exams for his ordination plus taking his bus driving exam.  He will also have to continue with the teaching, so as you can see we will all be pretty busy.  We are looking forward to the August 17th because our lives should quiet down after that day.  Please keep us in your prayers as we head into this busy season--that we will all stay healthy and well rested.
