January 22nd

Well, we went to our first doctor appointment today and everything went well.  We really like the doctor we met today.  She was very informative and had a great personality with us.  We felt very welcomed and were treated so well by all the staff.  There are two other doctors, and I'm sure we will eventually met them during this pregnancy.  The only thing that caught us off guard was the fact their office is right in the hospital.  I guess when you live in a big city things will be done differently.  We actually had to call the office because our GPS system said we had arrived, and we were in the hosptial parking lot.  We thought Marge had guided us incorrectly, but she was correct.  Nothing really excited happened---just blood work, an exam and heard G2's heart beat.  It is still the most wonderful sound to our ears.  We won't have an ultrasound until the 18th-20th week and at that time we will find out the sex of the baby.  We did find out that our due date is January 22nd, but know our little one will arrive when he/she is ready.  Not much else is going on here.  We had a great time celebrating our 7th anniversary on Monday.  We went out to dinner with some friends from church in celebration of their upcoming wedding.  We will be heading to SC next weekend, so I can take their wedding pictures.  I'm very excited to be doing this.  We thank everyone for all their continued prayers and hope you are doing well.
